And this is my vision of Charlie looking out the window in her room all by herself. Well, almost by herself. She is still very small, so she has to stand on Thurber the Cat, who, even though he's huge and magnificent, is still frightened by Baby Charlie. But some day he will be under Charlie's spell, in her thrall like the rest of us; then he will do whatever she asks of him...even if it means acting as a stepstool for our little beansprout...
