When Meagan was little, our next door neighbor, Auntie-Pat, gave her a beanbag doll named "Mama Beans and Baby." The Mama had velcro on her hands so they could stick together, allowing her to hug her little Baby Bean. That doll came to mind when Meagan told us on Father's Day that we were going to be grandparents, and she referred to her baby as "the Bean." That means Meagan is "Mama Bean," and, by association, Joe is "Papa Bean."
All this by way of explaining the title of this post, which is simply a progressive photo blog of Mama and Papa Bean (and even one of Uncle Bean) as we all wait to meet the little sprout...
